I invite you to explore my teaching approach in the collection of materials below.
My Teaching System
Diagnosis First I identify the student’s level, weak areas, exam goals, and the mistakes that cost marks.
Clear Explanation I explain not only how methods work, but also why they work and how they can be applied in real life.
Active Problem Solving Students participate actively, discuss ideas, and develop mathematical reasoning.
Exam-Focused Training We learn how to write solutions, manage time, and avoid common exam mistakes.
Homework & Correction Regular homework helps reinforce learning and reveals what needs improvement next.
Progress Feedback Parents receive honest feedback on strengths, weaknesses, and next steps.
Digital Lesson Notes & Interactive Whiteboard
I use a Samsung tablet as an interactive whiteboard during online lessons. This allows me to write clearly, draw diagrams, annotate exam questions, and build complete solution notes in real time. After the lesson, students can receive the PDF notes for revision and homework.
As a Person
Through years of teaching and parenting, I’ve grown into this kind of teacher:
Respectful
I respect my students as individuals and future colleagues. They have the right to make mistakes, ask questions, and learn without fear of being humiliated or judged.
Clear and patient
If something is unclear, I do not get frustrated. I find a simpler explanation, give more examples, and support the student until the idea starts to make sense.
Fun but demanding
I like bringing humour into lessons, sometimes even with math memes. But I also expect focus, effort, questions, and regular homework — progress needs consistency.
Dedicated
Teaching is my profession and vocation. My students can rely on me: I am consistent, available for questions after lessons, and honest with parents about progress and next steps.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are a good fit if you:
Want deep understanding, not just quick tricks or memorized formulas.
Are ready to think actively, ask questions, and explain your reasoning.
Aim for strong results and are willing to work consistently.
Value structured learning and clear explanations.
My lessons may not be the right choice if you:
Are looking for a quick fix or last-minute cramming without real effort.
Expect the tutor to solve problems instead of the student.
Are not ready to do regular homework.
Are looking for the cheapest possible option, regardless of quality.
Take a look at my lesson notes across a wide range of topics. I teach in two languages — English and Russian.
